Summit

The 2025 Prosperity Indiana Summit on May 7-8 at Marriott Indianapolis North will bring together community economic development professionals to explore emerging trends, ideas, and leadership strategies aimed at expanding housing and economic opportunities across Indiana.

This year’s theme, Emerging Leaders, Emerging Ideas, will guide discussions around innovative solutions to today’s challenges.

Membership

As a valued member of Prosperity Indiana, it’s important to keep your member bundle up to date to ensure your team's access to a growing number of useful resources. Please take a moment to review your bundle and remove any individuals who are no longer with your organization, while adding any new contacts who should be included.

Our member directory is a tool for networking and connecting to maximize impact. Maintaining an accurate list of active contacts helps us ensure that everyone stays engaged with the latest updates and opportunities PI has to offer.

The Indiana Emergency Assistance Program – round two (IERA2) is still taking applications!

Housing Stability Counseling Services:

Currently, there is a waitlist for IERA2 participants, who would like to engage in Housing Stability Counseling services. To be added to this waitlist, complete the JotForm.

Tippecanoe Housing Solutions Coalition

The Tippecanoe Housing Solutions Coalition is hosting a public housing discussion the week of April 7th-11th, 2025 at the Public Safety Center in Lafayette, Indiana! This workshop is a comprehensive event focused on creating housing solutions for Tippecanoe County, Indiana.

Attendees will collaborate and share ideas on how to implement housing solutions within our county. Conversations will center around evaluating possible housing projects, learning the resources and tools to prevent evictions and avoid foreclosure, county/city zoning regulations, current housing market updates, and navigating the professional ecosystem in the real estate development space.

Prosperity Indiana convenes three statewide advocacy coalition groups to help you stay in the loop on the top policy issues that our members care about while also engaging grassroots partners in advocacy opportunities. The Hoosier Housing Needs Coalition, Indiana Assets & Opportunity Network, and Hoosiers for Responsible Lending.

        AARP has opened its Community Challenge grant program for the 9th year

        This program funds quick-action projects to make communities more livable and jump-start long-term change. Please visit AARP.org/CommunityChallenge for more information and to see some of the past grantees in action. For questions, email communitychallenge@aarp.org.

        United Way Leadership United Program

        Leadership United participants are corporate and community leaders looking to develop their skills as nonprofit board leaders in the Central Indiana community. Participants gain insight into the challenges facing individuals and families in Central Indiana who are struggling to make ends meet and develop skills in nonprofit board leadership - leaving the program fully prepared to serve on a nonprofit board in our community.
