With ongoing economic disruptions at the state and national levels, increasing housing and other basic costs for Hoosiers, and escalating challenges for the organizations serving Indiana’s people and places, Prosperity Indiana invites you to discuss all of these issues at our annual ‘Policy and Pizza’ series of regional legislator meetings this fall.

Registration is now open to join fellow PI members and coalition partners for a 'Policy & Pizza' community conversation with policymakers from your region.  RSVP now and be sure to invite the state legislators who represent your service area!

Topics will include the debut of Prosperity Indiana’s member-driven 2026 policy priorities, legislative outlooks from attending lawmakers, and what community economic development stakeholders can expect at the state and federal levels in the coming year. Attendees will also learn about ways to get involved and help advocate for strengthening housing affordability and economic opportunity for all Hoosiers and their communities.

Prosperity Indiana supports the commitment of our members serving Hoosier communities throughout the federal shutdown and beyond. We will continue to advocate as a network to receive the full resources needed to strengthen Indiana’s people and places.

Thank you to ‘rockstar’ member advocates for joining PI on Capitol Hill this month!

Thank you to Prosperity Indiana superstar members Jeb Reece of Intend Indiana and Dr. Rev. Adrian M. Brooks, Sr. of Memorial CDC for joining PI’s Andrew Bradley for the national People & Places 2025 Conference Capitol Hill Day! We talked about why Congress must invest in Indiana’s community development organizations, and that withholding funding only hurts the communities they represent. Thanks to Senator Todd Young and staff for authoring the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act and supporting Housing Choice Vouchers and other coalition priorities. Thanks also to staff from the offices of Rep. Jefferson Shreve and Rep. Mark Messmer for meeting with us!
