Today, the Senate voted to advance another critical Prosperity Indiana proposal, SB 154, a bill that address asset limits for SNAP benefits. While the bill was amended to increase the asset limit from it's current level of $2,250 to $10,000, instead of eliminated the test altogether, this still represents a significant improvement to help vulnerable Hoosiers in need of food assistance attain economic sufficiency.
