Affordable Housing Development for Homeownership

This training, led by the National Development Council (NDC), will explore the challenges to developing affordable housing for homeownership. NDC's comprehensive training builds on the foundation of financial analysis and deal structuring experience amassed from numerous development projects. Through case studies, participants will have the opportunity to build their skills and develop problem-solving techniques for addressing real-world situations.

The course will cover affordable housing projects from start to end, addressing questions on predevelopment (land acquisition, subdivision, and construction finance) through what happens if the property doesn't sell. Trainers will particularly focus on financial analysis, understanding the development process and costs, and financing development.
