The Why, How, and What of Housing Stability
Skyrocketing inflation and the limited availability of affordable housing units have left many Hoosiers facing housing instability. This webinar will provide you with a working definition of housing stability as well as a framework to help you and your community address five root causes of housing instability.

Erica is responsible for managing program components necessary for carrying out Prosperity Indiana’s responsibilities related to the objectives, policies, and procedures for its new program. She incorporates national best practices where available and establishes new models where needed to ensure equitable delivery of resources.

Chelsea Gochenour has been with Lafayette Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. dba Homestead Consulting Services and Community Loan Center of West Central Indiana since May 2022. She started as a HUD Certified Housing Educator, helping clients with mostly Rental Counseling. She has also assisted with Foreclosure Counseling and does most of the education to clients outside of the office for tenant rights. She has recently been promoted to Associate Executive Director. Prior to this, Chelsea was in banking for a total of eight years. She was also a member of the Indiana Army National Guard (IANG) as a Military Police Officer. She was in the IANG for a total of eight years. She is currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College to receive her Associate’s degree in Business Management, which she will receive in May 2024.
