Introduction to Community Development

Please join us as we briefly explore the historical context, theoretical grounding, critical issues perspective, and the how-to applications for community development.

We'll be joined by Revered Adrian Brooks, President and Founder of the highly acclaimed Memorial Community Development Corporation located in Evansville.  Reverend Brooks will share how Memorial CDC uses community development principles to change the social, educational, economical, cultural, and physical course of the center city of Evansville and surrounding communities, as well as the lives of the people that live there.
