How much could conformity cost Indiana?
Mirroring OBBBA provisions could leave Hoosier households and service providers to do more with less.
Indiana's revenue forecast was challenged by a nearly $2.4 billion shortfall in 2025, pushing lawmakers to trim spending in places where Hoosiers and their families could least afford it. Now, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act introduces a new slate of income tax deductions that, if mirrored at the state level, will exacerbate this challenge.
