Introduction to Heirs' Property 101

Prosperity Indiana is excited to launch our members-only, Introduction to Heirs' Property 101, webinar on February 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

Program Goal

This webinar will expand participants’ knowledge of common obstacles and barriers that individuals who inherit property often face. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what Heirs’ Property is and the impact it has on property owners, family descendants, and communities. Through this program, attendees will learn strategies property owners can take to resolve heirship and maintain generational wealth building opportunities.

Target Audience

Targeted participants include community nonprofits, housing counseling agencies, homeownership programs, financial institutions, realtors, title companies, and local units of government. This webinar is available to PI members only at this time.

Join us as we break down the basics of heirs' property and the direct impact it has on generational wealth building and family legacy. Whether you are a nonprofit providing homeownership programing, an emerging realtor, or a financial institution you will learn how heirs’ properties are identified, the legal options available to resolve an heirship status, and the community-wide efforts that are necessary to decrease heirs’ properties throughout Indiana.
