Brian Goldstone's book, There is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America, has been called "appropriately enraging" and compared to Matthew Desmond's Evicted. The Nation's review said, "a book like this ought to be a rallying cry, the 21st Century equivalent of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle." It has also recently won the Pulitzer Prize.

We would like to invite Prosperity Indiana members, partners, and Hoosier advocates from around the state to join us in a summer read of this landmark work of journalism at the end of August.

The ebook is currently offered for $12.99 on Bookshop, Kindle, and elsewhere ebooks are sold.

This will be a statewide discussion hosted virtually on teams, but if you see that members of your community are also participating, we hope this will serve as a springboard to local connections and continued conversations.
