Brian Goldstone's book, There is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America, has been called "appropriately enraging" and compared to Matthew Desmond's Evicted. The Nation's review said, "a book like this ought to be a rallying cry, the 21st Century equivalent of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle." It has also recently won the Pulitzer Prize.

We would like to invite Prosperity Indiana members and partners to join us in a summer read of this landmark work of journalism over the course of five Fridays this summer.

The ebook is currently offered for $2.99 on Bookshop, Kindle, and elsewhere ebooks are sold.

Prosperity Indiana Summer Read Group Discussion Dates

• Friday, August 21 (Part Three)
• Friday August 28 (Part Four)
• Friday, September 4 (Part Five & Epilogue)

All sessions will be hosted virtually on teams, but if you see that members of your community are also participating, we hope this will serve as a springboard to local connections and continued conversations.
