The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act

What's in it, and what's next?

Thursday, August 6 | 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM ET

The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act became law on July 11, 2026. This landmark piece of legislation is the largest housing package to become law in recent history, and it contains a wide variety of provisions to promote increased supply, preservation of affordable neighborhood homes, and access to housing for low- and moderate-income households. This moment is the culmination fo nearly a decade of work on the part of national housing organizations, as well as state and local housing advocates across the country.

While we are celebrating this, we know our work is not done.

Join Prosperity Indiana and our partners Libby O'Neill and Kayla Gilchrist, Senior Policy Analyst and Senior Organizer at the National Low-Income Housing Coalition, to learn more about what is in the new law and what is next for us as advocates for safe, affordable housing for all Hoosiers.
