As the 2027 legislative session approaches, it is social service providers of all kinds must be engaging their lawmakers to educate them about the essential role they play in communities throughout the Hoosier State. This is especially true for homeless service providers who continue to carry out lifesaving work in an increasingly hostile political climate characterized by misinformation and prejudiced portrayals of an already stigmatized population.
